Levels & Rates
Rates are based on a turnaround time of three business days. For projects requiring a shorter turnaround time, there will be an additional premium charge of 25%. Projects exceeding 30,000 words (for basic proofreading), 20,000 words (for intermediate-level copyediting) and 10,000 words (for developmental/intensive copyediting) will require more than three business days but will not incur any premium charges.
Idea-centered projects (book development, résumé creation, website content building, etc.) may have a different turnaround time due to the increased level of interaction between wordsmith and client.

| Intermediate-level copyediting | Client requires assistance with a project that is underway but may not have a clearly-defined outcome; the project has been conceptualized but is still a work in progress (i.e., may only be in its first or second draft). | $45.00 per hour (875 words per hour) |
| Developmental/intensive coaching | Client requires assistance with crafting the project (ideas/concepts/structure) at its inception. Although this can apply to any type of written project, most often clients require assistance with books/manuscripts.
