When the writer and editor agree to collaborate on a project, the agreement includes how the project will be broken up and what the deadlines will be. Generally speaking, longer projects generally have two or three deadlines and corresponding payments (i.e., a third of the project cost is paid on the first deadline, the second third on the second deadline, and the final third on the final deadline). This provides both the writer and editor with an opportunity to work together more closely and therefore effectively on the project. Establishing smaller, multiple deadlines and payments also makes it easier for both parties to manage their time and resources and know what to expect.
Due to the more involved and back-and-forth nature of book coaching services, the mutual deadlines and times of payments may be different with book coaching projects.
Payments can be made by check or processed through PayPal.
